Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
It can be really tough to actually talk about what is going on for you. Sometimes we feel shame or fear at the prospect of sharing these feelings. Sometimes there just aren’t words for those feelings. I offer a space in which whatever you wish to talk about is fine. I am not easily shocked!
Our time spent together will involve creating a safe space in which you can explore whatever it is that you want or need. I like to hold a space where I embrace that everybody is unique and that nobody is “perfect.” I also understand the drive to achieve that perfection and how difficult it can be balancing the two.
I offer both short and long term counselling and psychotherapy to support you in whichever way you need. I’m open to exploring with you the ways in which we can work together.

Richard Murray understands how hard it can be to speak about what is troubling you. People often feel shame, fear, or simply struggle to find the words to describe their experience, and he creates a space where those difficulties are acknowledged and accepted.
He provides an environment in which whatever a person wishes to bring is welcome – he is not easily shocked. Sessions aim to be a safe place for exploration, with an attitude that recognises each person as unique and without placing pressure to be “perfect.” He also appreciates the pull toward high achievement and the challenge of balancing that drive with self-acceptance.
Richard offers both short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy to suit differing needs, and he is open to exploring with clients the ways they might work together.
Many people ask whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose the format that feels most comfortable.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if you decide you would prefer a different fit, it is possible to switch to another therapist. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to get support for everyday mental health concerns.
