Rhys Kain Danter is credentialed in the United Kingdom and brings four years of professional therapeutic experience. He works with a broad range of concerns including stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, self-esteem and confidence, ADHD, relationship and family difficulties, grief, intimacy-related issues, eating concerns, anger, bipolar disorder, depression, coping with life changes, coaching and compassion fatigue.
He is a male, gay, non-religious and liberal therapist who takes a CBT-orientated approach while integrating techniques from DBT and ACT. Rhys uses a wide therapeutic toolbox and adapts his methods to suit each person he sees, tailoring sessions to meet individual needs.
His aim is straightforward: help clients heal, grow and strengthen, then equip them with practical coping strategies to manage life’s challenges. That process can include psychoeducation so clients understand the tools they’re using. The pace of work is set by the client’s needs, and Rhys welcomes the opportunity to be part of that journey, believing everyone can grow when given the right conditions.
Many people ask whether remote therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major advantage is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose the format that feels most comfortable.
Sessions are delivered by licensed professionals, and if you decide you would like a different fit you can switch therapists. For many people facing everyday mental health challenges, online therapy offers an accessible, adaptable route to support and progress.
