About

She currently does not have any availability for evening sessions.

Rebecca “Becca” Mather welcomes people who are struggling and offers a warm, non-judgmental space to be heard. She recognises how overwhelming burnout and persistent anxiety can be, including days when it feels impossible to get out of bed. When thoughts start to dominate daily life and a person decides “enough is enough,” Becca is available to listen and support that decision to seek therapy.

Having undertaken her own personal therapy, Becca understands how important it is to find the right therapeutic match. She aims to provide an uninterrupted environment where clients feel supported, validated and genuinely listened to, so they can begin to feel calmer, more confident and at greater peace.

She encourages clients to make themselves a priority and to build self-care into their lives. Becca asks clients to imagine mornings that feel renewed and energised instead of filled with dread, and to picture being able to face the day and enjoy life more fully.

Becca works with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, loneliness, self-esteem difficulties and depression. She has a particular interest in supporting women through pregnancy and early motherhood, drawing on personal experience of difficult pregnancies and postnatal depression and postnatal anxiety. She also supports women who experience hyperemesis gravidarum and nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.

In her practice she may use mindfulness and EFT - emotional freedom techniques, also known as tapping - while recognising that no single approach fits everyone. All techniques are offered as invitations, so there is never pressure to pursue anything that does not feel right.

Becca offers collaborative support to help clients make decisions, understand themselves better and set achievable goals to create positive change. She is available to support people on their healing journey, and if her profile feels like a good fit, clients are encouraged to reach out.

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

For many common concerns - including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and major life transitions - online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person work. It offers a practical alternative for people looking to address these challenges without needing to attend face-to-face appointments.

One of the main strengths of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best - through video calls, telephone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging - making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.

Each therapist involved in online work is a licensed professional, and people are free to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. This approach makes it simpler to find the right therapeutic relationship and to continue progress in a way that works for the individual’s circumstances.
