Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist who has been practicing for over 15 years. I work Integratively because I do not believe one therapeutic approach works for everyone as we are all unique individuals. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centered, gestalt, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic, and sensorimotor psychotherapy. Every person is unique and different approaches work for different people depending on the presenting issues. I have run a successful private practice working with a range of issues from anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and complex trauma. I have also trained in Eating Disorders and Addictions.
I have a special interest in neuroscience and neurobiology. Understanding the way the brain works can deliver effective interventions in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use somatic and sensorimotor interventions and psychoeducation to teach clients effective techniques to help manage their anxiety and depression more effectively. The body holds onto traumatic memories and experiences so body psychotherapy is effective in helping people process past traumas. I believe psychoeducation is an important part of the therapeutic process. The most effective therapy is based on a strong therapeutic alliance and this facilitates positive therapeutic outcomes by developing a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am warm, empathic, respectful, and compassionate. I will also challenge dysfunctional beliefs and negative thoughts in a gentle and non-judgmental manner to help facilitate you on your therapeutic journey. I like to ensure my clients get the most out of their therapy.
If you are ready to embark on a therapeutic journey please feel free to contact me. I will be looking forward to working with you.

Pamela Port is an integrative psychotherapist based in the United Kingdom with 18 years of experience. She works in an integrative way because she believes no single therapeutic approach suits everyone, and she draws on psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centered, gestalt, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic, and sensorimotor psychotherapy to tailor treatment to each individual.
In private practice she has supported people presenting with anxiety and panic attacks, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma and complex trauma. She has also trained in the treatment of eating disorders and in working with addictions, and she addresses a broad range of concerns including stress, family and intimacy-related issues, anger, self-esteem, and coping with life changes. Her listed specialties include work with LGBT and gay clients, and she is identified as a female, liberal therapist.
Pamela has a particular interest in neuroscience and neurobiology and uses that understanding to inform her therapeutic choices. She employs somatic and sensorimotor interventions alongside psychoeducation to teach techniques that help people manage anxiety and depression more effectively. Recognising that the body can retain traumatic memories, she integrates body-focused approaches to assist with processing past trauma.
She places strong emphasis on psychoeducation and on developing a robust therapeutic alliance, seeing a trusting relationship as central to positive outcomes. Pamela is described as warm, empathic, respectful, and compassionate, and she works to gently challenge dysfunctional beliefs and negative thoughts in a non-judgmental way. If someone is ready to begin a therapeutic journey, they are invited to contact her to discuss working together.
For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adapting to life changes, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person work. Research and clinical experience indicate that remote sessions can deliver meaningful progress for these types of issues.
One major advantage of online work is flexibility – people can connect in the format that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity when life circumstances change.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to request a different therapist if they feel a change would be a better fit. Online therapy provides an accessible route to professional support while maintaining the core therapeutic elements that support effective treatment.
