Neidin Mooney is a qualified integrative counsellor with 5 years’ experience supporting people facing stress, anxiety, depression, low motivation, and challenges with self-esteem and confidence.
She also brings three years’ experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and neurodiversity, and has completed short courses in eating disorders, hoarding, domestic abuse and LGBTQIA+ matters. While she is not specifically trained in every listed area, she offers a listening presence until appropriate services become available.
Neidin works from the belief that each person is the expert of their own story and that existing strengths can help overcome current challenges. She recognises the courage involved in seeking help, acknowledges that first step, and aims to support and empower clients throughout their journey.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adapting to life changes – online therapy is widely regarded as comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One key advantage is flexibility. Individuals can connect in the way that suits them best – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to fit therapy into daily life.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they need a different fit. Overall, online therapy offers a practical, accessible route for addressing many everyday mental health and relationship concerns, while allowing people to engage in a format that works for them.
