Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Natasch Lindsey Acker. I am a licensed therapist. You can call me Talyah. I’ve been fascinated with psychology my whole life. I’ve worked in the fields of education with young people, and then in counseling for a total of 20 years. I’ve attended Spelman College, Columbia College, and the University of Arkansas. I’ve chosen to specialize in helping people have better relationships. Much of what we struggle with today is a direct result of the things we learned and experienced in our past. Things that we had no control over. My favorite two sayings are “Knowledge is Power” and “Team work makes the dream work.” They can be corny, I know; but cliches become cliches for a reason. Because they start with well worn truth.
Gaining knowledge of how our mind works can empower us in so many ways. It’s like turning on the light switch in a cluttered attic. You can see the fullness of your environment and can easily navigate your way through once you see the full space clearly. Our lives are like that.
Because we are social creatures, we live, and grow, and develop our sense of self by what we see reflected in the eyes of others. It is vital that we have a support network. And sometimes that support can start with just one person who will take the time to listen and be on your side. I am here to be that person for you. I am passionate about helping people learn how to have a healthy connection with themselves and with others; because those connections are our greatest sources of happiness and satisfaction. You can have better relationships, more outward success, and greater peace. You can rewrite your old scripts and choose how you want your life to unfold, rather than continuing to follow the old patterns that worked in the past, but are no longer working in your best interest now. Thank you for taking this first step with me.

Natasch Lindsey-Acker, who also goes by Talyah, is a licensed clinician based in Illinois with seven years of professional therapy experience. She has a background working with young people in educational settings and later transitioned into counseling work. She attended Spelman College, Columbia College, and the University of Arkansas.
Natasch focuses her practice on helping people build healthier relationships and navigate interpersonal challenges. Her specialties include relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy-related concerns, parenting difficulties, self-esteem, stress and anxiety, eating disorders, anger management, career-related struggles, coping with life changes, coaching, and compassion fatigue.
She believes that many present-day difficulties trace back to early experiences and learned patterns that were outside a person’s control. By increasing understanding of how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, clients can gain clearer perspective and make different choices – much like turning on a light in a cluttered attic helps reveal the full space so you can move through it more easily.
Natasch values supportive teamwork and often cites two guiding sayings: “Knowledge is power” and “Team work makes the dream work.” She is passionate about helping people develop healthier connections with themselves and others so they can experience greater satisfaction, success, and peace. She offers a listening presence and collaborative approach to help clients rewrite old scripts and choose a path forward that better serves their goals.
Many people wonder whether digital counseling really helps. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.
One of the chief benefits is convenience and flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that fits their life best, whether that is a video appointment, a phone call, a live chat, or ongoing in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain continuity of care when schedules are busy or travel and other obligations make in-person visits difficult.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many individuals, remote therapy provides a practical, effective way to access skilled support while balancing day-to-day responsibilities.
