Megan Shea, AMHSW
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
Trauma-Informed Therapist | Holistic Practitioner
I’m a trauma-informed therapist with over a decade of experience supporting adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, intimacy challenges, and spiritual transitions. I provide psychotherapy through an integrative lens that combines evidence-based therapies with somatic awareness and reflective practices.
My clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR (in progress). I also draw from somatic psychology, mindfulness, and expressive arts to help clients reconnect with their emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, and inner wisdom.
I offer a warm, respectful space to explore relational dynamics, attachment wounds, grief, life transitions, and patterns of disconnection. Sessions are tailored to each client’s pace, goals, and lived experience, grounded in curiosity and compassion.
You don’t need to be “fixed” — you deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered to reclaim your sense of wholeness.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals provide treatment via these formats, and clients may change therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit. Online therapy offers an accessible option for many who are seeking support for everyday mental health concerns.
