Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a LMHC with 10 years of experience, however I have more than 20 years- experience working as a first responder in the military and local agencies. I have worked many years with foster children and the families that care for them, I understand the challenges that it takes to care for these special children and the individual unique needs that each family has. Being a first responder has provided me the insight what our brave men and women endure each day and the emotional trauma that can occur with these challenging careers. I work in a large range of clients to include children to adults experiencing anxiety, PTSD, parenting problems, career problems, addictions, and depression; different forms of trauma to include physical or emotional abuse.
I am warm, empathetic, and believe that each person is to be treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels; working as a first responder and being a Veteran I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and realize how strong you are to reach out.
My approach is person-centered, psychoeducational, existential, and cognitive behavioral focusing on empowering and helping the individual to regain control within their lives and unique situations.
I am happy that you are taking your first steps to take back your power and when you are ready, I am here to assist your journey. I look forward to working with you!
