Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the states of Florida, New Jersey, District of Columbia and Utah. The clients I work with are full of diversity and have a variety of issues in their day to day lives. Together, we overcome relational turmoil, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. I love helping my clients heal through trauma, pain and/or negative thoughts – that’s why I named my practice Meraki Therapy. The word Meraki means to place creativity, soul and passion in what you do – I believe that is the beauty of what we do in therapy.
The first couple sessions, you can expect us to dive into the root of what is getting in the way of your happiness. I take pride in being non-judgmental and easy to talk to this way you can feel comfortable in sharing your story. My therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which means you can expect to complete homework assignments focusing on your inner-self.
At the moment, I am available for telehealth sessions including phone and live chats. I am very flexible in my responses and get back to you within 24 hours. It’s important keep transparent communication with each other in order to build a strong therapeutic alliance.

Mabel Castro is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Florida and Pennsylvania with ten years of clinical experience. She works with a wide range of clients who face stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, life transitions, compassion fatigue, addictions, relationship struggles, trauma and abuse, and intimacy-related concerns.
She founded Meraki Therapy to reflect a belief in bringing creativity, soul and passion to therapeutic work – the word Meraki captures that intention. In the opening sessions Mabel focuses on uncovering the root issues that are getting in the way of a client’s well-being, taking a non-judgmental and approachable stance so clients can feel comfortable sharing their stories.
Mabel uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as her primary approach, and clients can expect practical exercises and homework that promote self-reflection and skill-building. She is currently available for telehealth appointments, including phone sessions and live chat, and aims to respond to clients within 24 hours. Transparent communication is important to her practice and helps form a strong therapeutic alliance.
Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major advantage of remote care is flexibility – individuals can connect in the format that works best for them, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapeutic support into a busy schedule.
All sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they seek a different fit. Online therapy offers an accessible way to address everyday mental health needs while preserving the structure and therapeutic techniques found in conventional care.
