To help you know if I might be the right person for you, here is a little bit more about me.
Born into a large farming family I have always a strong connection with nature. I knew early on I was different from other children, was bullied a lot at school and learnt very early to mask my real self. Growing up my closest and safest friends were my animals who loved me just the way I was. My childhood was also shaped by significant family illnesses with my father’s accident, stoke and autoimmune disease when he was 40. Those events forever changed my world and I adjusted to this by taking on the role of carer to him as a young teenager. Combining this with my love of caring for sick or injured animals it was a very natural transition to for me to become a nurse.
I then spent the next 30 years working in healthcare as an ED Nurse, Patient Safety Officer, Quality and Risk Manager, Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am very passionate about caring for and helping others and creating a safer, brighter world for others. I know from my own lived experience how tough life can be and the vital importance on how to building skills, resources and tools to not only survive but THRIVE again.
I’m very blessed to have in my life my wonderful family. Three adult sons, their partners, my grandchildren, two stepdaughters, one transgender son, and a committed, caring and considerate partner.

Linda is based in the Gold Coast Hinterland where she operates a private practice called Nurtured by Nature Psychotherapy and runs a Quarter Horse Stud named Ricinda Ranch. Her home is surrounded by a herd of mares and foals and set in a secluded valley immersed in nature. That environment and the animals that live there offer a calming setting where clients can unravel, renew and reignite.
Born into a large farming family, Linda has long held a deep connection with the natural world. She remembers feeling different as a child, experiencing bullying and learning to mask her authentic self, while finding safety and acceptance with animals. Her father’s accident, stroke and autoimmune illness when he was 40 marked her childhood and led her to take on caring responsibilities as a young teenager. That experience, together with a love of nursing injured animals, led her into a nursing career.
She then spent three decades working across health care roles, including as an ED Nurse, Patient Safety Officer, Quality and Risk Manager, Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Passionate about helping others and creating safer, brighter futures, Linda draws on both professional training and lived experience to support people in building skills, resources and tools not merely to survive but to thrive.
She is grateful for her family life, which includes three adult sons, their partners, grandchildren, two stepdaughters, one transgender son, and a committed, caring partner.
