After earning a dual degree in mental health and substance abuse treatment, Linda Levinson began working with clients recovering from opioid addiction and co-occurring disorders. This early experience shaped her ability to address both substance use and the emotional issues that often accompany it, including trauma, stress, depression, low self-confidence, guilt and shame, anger, and anxiety.
She also has extensive experience treating process addictions such as shopping, video gaming, internet use, exercise, gambling, and sex and love addictions. Over the course of a decade in practice, Linda has applied these skills to help people untangle patterns that keep them stuck and to build healthier ways of coping.
Linda values diversity and has worked with many people from the LGBTQIA community. She supports clients exploring sexual identity and helps address challenges that arise from sexual trauma, grief, or sexual dysfunction. She is also experienced working with clients in open or non-monogamous relationships, grounding that work in acceptance and empowerment.
As a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio, holding a state credential (license number E.2102223), Linda blends her experience and training to assist clients in identifying what holds them back and in discovering strengths from their past that can support desired change. She offers a range of therapeutic approaches and coaching techniques to match each person’s needs and goals, and she brings ten years of clinical experience to her practice in Ohio.
