Laura Bourne

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi. I’m Laura and I am a qualified counsellor based in the UK.

I’m a qualified CBT counsellor, with a deep passion for supporting people toward healing and positive change. While I initially trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I believe that no single approach fits everyone. We’re all wonderfully unique, shaped by our own life experiences — and so I’ve expanded my training across different therapeutic models to offer a more personalised and flexible approach to each client.

I work with both young people and adults, offering compassionate, non-judgmental support through life’s most difficult and complex challenges. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, relationship concerns, or grief and loss — you don’t have to do it alone. I bring both professional insight and genuine compassion to this work.

I am a qualified trauma-informed practitioner, which means I work with an awareness of how trauma impacts the body and mind, ensuring a safe, supportive space for healing at your own pace.

Reaching out takes courage and shows you already have the ability to make positive change. I am here to support you in that process.

I look forward to working with you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can really help. For most common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility. People can connect in the way that feels most comfortable to them: via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy around work, family, and other commitments. Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients can change therapists if they would prefer a different match. For many, the accessible format and consistent professional support make online therapy a practical option for addressing common mental health concerns.
