Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Kari Wright and I have been a licensed social worker for 13 years. First, let me say thank you for looking at my profile and also say congrats for the courage you have demonstrated in seeking support.
As a clinician, my goal is to walk alongside you as you share your life. I seek to provide a safe space so that you can begin to feel better. Formally, I tend to use cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. I have extensive experience with grief, loss, depression, and trauma, but also willing to explore any topic. I am comfortable working with adults and children. I am a clinician that’s a Christian, but do not provide Christian counseling exclusively… I will NEVER attempt to talk about religion if you don’t want to.
Informally, I strive to make sure I understand what your saying, provide validation, feedback, and explore different perspectives. Therapy is a partnership so it will take both of us to get this right. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.
I hope to speak with you soon.
Kindly
Kari

Kari Wright is a Michigan-based licensed Master of Social Work with 20 years of experience providing therapeutic support. She welcomes visitors to her profile and acknowledges the courage it takes to seek help.
As a clinician, she aims to walk alongside people as they share their lives, creating a safe space where they can begin to feel better. Her formal approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR, and she has extensive experience supporting people through grief, loss, depression, and trauma while remaining open to exploring any topic that arises.
She is comfortable working with both adults and children. While Kari is a Christian clinician, she does not provide exclusively Christian counseling and will not raise religious topics if a client does not want to discuss them.
Informally, Kari focuses on understanding what each person is saying, offering validation and feedback, and exploring different perspectives. She views therapy as a collaborative process that requires participation from both the therapist and the client, and she encourages prospective clients to ask any questions they may have. She hopes to speak with you soon.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and practice have shown that these types of issues often respond well to remote sessions delivered by trained professionals.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it simpler to attend appointments and maintain continuity of care.
Every therapist involved is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy offers a practical way to access consistent support while adapting to individual schedules and preferences.
