Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Julie and I love living in the city, the hustle and bustle of life and human connection. I worked in hospitality management for 25 years and understand the pressures of working full time while running a business and a home. I believe that therapy should be an open space for us to come together and work out what is going on and how you can make some changes to make life better.
I am an integrative trained counsellor – what does that mean? This means that I have taken the time to look at a number of different ways of working with clients, you may have heard of CBT, psychodynamic etc. I studied all of these and use aspects of them to work with you to form your own way of being.
Please feel free to reach out and contact me, I believe that finding the right counsellor for you is just as important a step as deciding to go for counselling. I like to meet for an initial chat, to see if we are a good fit and then we can make plans from there.

Julie Storr is an integrative trained counsellor who enjoys city life and the energy of human connection. She draws on a background of 25 years in hospitality management to understand the pressures of working full time while running a business and a home, and she uses that insight when supporting people facing everyday challenges.
With 10 years of experience in therapy, Julie combines techniques from different therapeutic models – for example cognitive behavioural approaches and psychodynamic ideas – and adapts elements from these to suit each person’s needs. This integrative method helps clients develop ways of being that feel authentic for them.
Julie believes that finding the right counsellor is as important as deciding to seek counselling. She invites prospective clients to an initial chat to assess fit and, if appropriate, to plan the next steps together.
Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.
A key benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of contact that fits their life, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it simpler to attend sessions without disrupting work, family, or other commitments.
Therapists who work online are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different practitioner they are free to switch at any time. Online therapy offers an accessible option for many people seeking support while maintaining the same professional standards found in in-person therapy.
