Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! I am so glad that you reached out to us for help. I am FreEtta Nelson-Hemphill, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. Most of my clients refer to me as “Fritzi”. You are welcome to do so also!
I have worked with many individuals with diverse cultural identities and backgrounds over the past 20 years. My job is to help you become successful in any problem areas that have come up for you at this point in your life. To do this, I will spend time listening to you and asking questions in order to get a “picture” of your life. I want to understand what is working and what is not. After we do this, we can take the information that you have given me and establish your therapy goals.
Psychotherapy has both benefits and risks. It requires an investment of time and energy in order to make your process successful. I will, most often, approach our work together from a Cognitive Behavioral Treatment perspective. I believe: Oh Yeah! You can handle this! When you are able to those adjust or restructure those thought patterns and behavior (s) that are precipitating and maintaining the problem area(s), you will see the change you desire.
I look forward to meeting you in this season of your journey.

FreEtta Nelson-Hemphill, who many clients call “Fritzi,” is a Licensed Certified Social Worker practicing in Arkansas with 26 years of experience.
She helps people address problem areas that have emerged at different points in their lives by beginning with careful listening and thoughtful questions to form a clear picture of each person’s circumstances. Her goal is to understand what is working and what is not, then use that information to set collaborative, achievable therapy goals.
She most often approaches therapy from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective, supporting clients to identify and restructure thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their concerns. She also explains that psychotherapy carries both benefits and risks and that making progress typically requires an investment of time and energy. She encourages clients with a positive, affirming attitude—”Oh yeah! You can handle this!”

Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists and other licensed professionals provide care remotely, and clients may choose to switch providers at any time if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, accessible option for addressing everyday mental health concerns.
