Estar Wells is a fully qualified and experienced therapeutic counsellor and life coach with seven years of practice. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, a graduate member of the British Psychological Society, and a member of the National Counselling Society.
She works from her own practice with people presenting a range of difficulties, including depression, stress and anxiety, bereavement, loneliness and self-esteem issues. She also has a particular interest in life transitions, life decisions and relationship difficulties, and she works as a couples therapist.
Her approach is integrative, drawing on different theories to suit individual needs, including person-centred theory, psychodynamic theory, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy. For clients who prefer a more structured way of working toward specific goals, she will sometimes include Solution Focused or Brief Therapy within a shorter time frame when appropriate.
With a person-centred background, Estar offers acceptance without judgement and provides genuine feedback while avoiding directing or advising. She aims to make sessions easy to talk in so people feel comfortable sharing their concerns.
Estar is committed to offering a calm, patient and non-judgemental therapeutic approach and is dedicated to ensuring people can access counselling when it is needed. She is available to support clients as they work through their concerns.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes - online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best - via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging - which makes it simpler to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists providing these services are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical, accessible option for many people seeking support.
