Emma Conlon

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a relational psychotherapist in the United Kingdom with 3 years of professional work experience. I am a warm, open person who loves listening to people with a very sensitive and intuitive ear. I welcome all types of people who feel they would like to discuss or explore issues that are bothering them, whether this is going deep and detailed into the past, keeping it to the ‘here and now’, or even working creatively on how they might view themselves and their place in it.

If you have trouble with relationships, then we can use the work we do together to try and work out what part you might have to play in those relationships. This might mean me challenging you (and myself) to really look at how perhaps we relate in the counselling room, or with others. This work can be quite tiresome but also revealing, and I would never push.

With a background in bodywork, I sometimes introduce meditation or mindful work into the sessions, again, only if the client is interested.

About

Emma Conlon is a relational psychotherapist based in the United Kingdom with three years of professional experience. She brings a warm, open manner and a sensitive, intuitive ear to her work, making space for people to explore what is troubling them.

She welcomes anyone who wants to look at difficulties either by exploring the past, focusing on the here and now, or working creatively to shift how they see themselves and their place in the world. Her practice specialises in stress, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, coping with life changes and ADHD.

When relationship difficulties are present, Emma uses the therapeutic work to help clients uncover the part they play in those dynamics. She may challenge clients – and herself – to notice how they relate in the counselling room and with others; this approach can be tiring yet revealing, and she will never push someone beyond their readiness.

With a background in bodywork, Emma sometimes introduces meditation or mindful practices into sessions, but only when a client is interested. She is a female therapist who identifies as gay, and she describes herself as non-religious and liberal.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It can offer a practical way to access support without sacrificing quality of care. A major benefit of remote work is flexibility. Clients can choose the contact method that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life. All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can be a convenient, effective option for many people seeking help with everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
