My name is Emina (pronounced e-mee-nah), and I am a qualified person-centred trauma-informed therapeutic counsellor. I work in a relational way, providing a non-judgemental, neuro-affirming and inclusive space, where you can explore what is important for you at your own pace. I believe in the uniqueness of every individual and aim to support you with genuine curiosity, kindness, and empathy. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities, and I am committed to providing culturally informed support and respect for each person’s unique experiences and intersections. Our human experiences, nervous systems, and minds are incredibly diverse, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. In our sessions, I prioritise creating an environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued. This will empower you to make choices that align with your true self and feel worthy of the joy and fulfilment that life offers. Through perceived acceptance when working with me, I believe you can come to see yourself as deserving of happiness, self-care, and healthy, life-affirming decisions. My approach focuses on normalising emotions, encouraging understanding, and fostering acceptance of all feelings.
