Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Congratulations! for taking the first step in creating a space for you to find balance. There are times in our lives when we just need a little help. We have tried to alleviate the fear, using practices we have used in the past. Unfortunately, we find that those practices are not working, as they once did. It is like a puzzle where we have most of the pieces, but a couple of pieces are missing that will allow us to see clearly what we need to do to feel better. I love puzzles and I love helping others find the pieces they need to understand themselves better.
I am Dr. Nina (Ednita M. Wright). I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a Credentialed Alcoholism/Substance Abuse Counselor, living in Syracuse, New York. I have provided counseling for more than thirty years, to those individuals that have had concerns with substance use, feeling lost, grief, transitions (for example adolescence to adulthood), spirituality and identity. I am still teaching as a professor, after twenty-five years, in a community college in the Alcohol/Substance Abuse Counseling/Human Services/Teacher Education Department. I consult with academic institutions, community agencies and affiliation groups, regarding issues of inclusion. It is my belief that for our communities to truly be inclusive, you must want to be inclusive and be ready to stop mere tolerance.
If I seem a good fit for you, I look forward to meeting with you. If I am not, I trust you find who you need to help you find balance.
Have a day full of peace and love.
