Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. I am a NCPS accredited therapist with over 6 years counselling experience and am based in the UK. I work with both individual and couples as I am also a Relate qualified relationship counsellor.
My key areas of interest are stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions and coping with grief and loss. Being an integrative counsellor, I work from a client-centred base but incorporate other modalities such as CBT and solution focussed therapy along with compassionate and mindfulness approaches. I have a strong interest in adult attachment and systemic models when working with clients on relational or family issues.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will help you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Dawn Brearley is an NCPS accredited therapist based in the United Kingdom with seven years of counselling experience. She works with both individuals and couples and is Relate qualified as a relationship counsellor.
Her main areas of practice include stress and anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions and coping with grief and loss. As an integrative counsellor she works from a client-centred base while drawing on cognitive behavioural (CBT) and solution focussed techniques, together with compassionate and mindfulness-based approaches.
Dawn has a particular interest in adult attachment and in systemic models when addressing relational and family issues. She sees clients as the experts in their own stories and aims to help them access the strengths they already have to face challenges and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Taking the first step to seek change can be difficult; Dawn offers supportive, professional guidance throughout that process.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can choose the communication method that suits them best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they need a different fit. For many, online therapy offers a practical, effective route to support and progress with day-to-day mental health and relationship concerns.
