Danielle White is a fully qualified Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
She has seven years of experience providing therapy and has worked for more than ten years within the mental health sector. Her background includes two years of volunteer counselling with two charitable agencies, offering support to people from a range of backgrounds, and roles in a secure adult forensics ward and in NHS doctors’ surgeries.
While working as a Senior Team Leader in an NHS doctors’ surgery, Danielle witnessed the growing need for accessible mental health support, which prompted her to undertake over four years of study to qualify as an Integrative Counsellor. She offers both face-to-face and online therapy to provide flexible access to care.
Danielle has worked with a wide range of presenting issues, including depression; anxiety and stress; low self-worth and self-esteem; relationship and communication challenges; infidelity, separation and divorce; grief, loss and resentment; overwhelm and burnout; and historic abuse. She has also supported clients with learning difficulties, speech impediments and ADHD, adapting her approach to meet individual needs.
As an integrative practitioner, Danielle draws on different therapeutic models to create a flexible, client-centred approach. She provides a non-judgmental, compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace and works collaboratively to support emotional wellbeing, personal growth and meaningful change.
