Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am Dr. Cindy M. George, a registered mental health counsellor with over twenty five years of experience in the field of psychology/counselling. I am registered to practice in the United Kingdom and the British Virgin Islands; with licensure in the United States. My experiences are vast with varying populations. For example, individuals, couples, families, and groups in areas such as private practice, community mental health, substance abuse centres, psychiatric hospitals, school and corporate settings. Over the course of my career, I have continued my passion for working with people to help them achieve their goals and bring about the desired behavioral changes. I do this with a genuine caring and non-judgmental attitude that allows for a strong client-counsellor relationship experience that promotes success in the therapeutic process.
With a Ph.D. in Counselling, specialization in Marital, Couples, & Family Therapy, a Masters in Counselling; specialization in Mental Health Counselling, and a Bachelors in Psychology, I have the knowledge and understanding of human behavior to help you with your life challenges. My approach to therapy is from a wellness and integrative perspective that tailors the treatment to your individual needs. I believe in treating the individual as a whole person, not just as a diagnosis. More specifically, I utilize theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, Structural/Systemic, and Person Centered Theories.
I am confident that I can help with whatever your concerns; with relationships, we will improve communication skills and overall understanding of those relationships and how to better interact with various persons in your life, and meet your needs. For the self, life difficulties can be overwhelming and I am here to assist you with gaining insight into your thoughts and how they influence your behaviors. We will work on self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment. Additionally, should you be diagnosed with any of the mood disorders such as depression or anxiety, we can also work on these and others for improved functionality in your life. Do consider my services and we can begin the journey toward change. I look forward to working with you.
Thank you and be well.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life transitions, research and clinical experience indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.
A major advantage of remote sessions is flexibility. Clients can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life and comfort level – by video call, phone, live chat or in-app messaging – making it simpler to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they are seeking a different fit. For many people, virtual therapy provides a practical, accessible way to address emotional and relational challenges and to work toward meaningful change.
