Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an intergrative UK based counsellor and trained to level 5, with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients of ages 16-84 with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, sexual and domestic abuse/violence, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I also have experience working with families affected directly or indirectly by cancer.
Theories which I draw from include Person-centred (a gentle individual based model where you are the expert of ‘you’), Gestalt (focussing on feelings and the here and now,) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (looking at patterns of thoughts and behaviours and their impact).
At the heart of the process will be our relationship: I will be open and honest with you and look to establish a sense of trust and safety. Please feel free to ask if you have any particular ideas of how we can work together creatively or otherwise, or to say if you are uncomfortable. Together we can work out what is best for YOU! It takes courage to seek out help in taking the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in your journey.
I monitor my own practice by attending regular supervision and am committed to my own self-development as specified by BACP. There are times where aspects of sessions will be taken to supervision to monitor and develop practice; however, at no time will any identifiable information be mentioned.
