Chloe Hale is an integrative UK-based counsellor trained to level 5, with 3 years of professional experience. She works with people aged 16 to 84, supporting concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, sexual and domestic abuse or violence, motivation challenges, self-esteem and confidence.
She also has experience supporting families affected directly or indirectly by cancer. Chloe draws on Person-centred approaches - a gentle, individual-focused model that recognises the client as the expert of their own experience - Gestalt, which attends to feelings and the here and now, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which examines patterns of thoughts and behaviours and their effects.
At the heart of her practice is the therapeutic relationship. Chloe aims to be open and honest while creating a sense of trust and safety, and she invites clients to suggest creative ways of working or to say when they feel uncomfortable so that together they can find what works best.
She recognises the courage involved in seeking help and is committed to supporting and empowering clients through change. Chloe maintains her professional standards through regular supervision and ongoing development as specified by BACP; when aspects of sessions are discussed in supervision, no identifiable information is shared.
