Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am credentialed in the United Kingdom with 3 years of professional counselling work experience and 30 years supporting people with mental health.
My counselling style is gentle yet I am happy to question things too.
I am interactive but will also be silent when it feels space for thoughts is needed.
I also have a sense of humour as I feel it is important to be ‘real’ too.
I have experience in helping people with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief, coping with loss, anger management, motivation, & self esteem.
I also have experience in working creatively, as sometimes, words are not enough.
I am ‘parts’ and trauma aware and understand there are many aspects to our personalities. All parts of you are welcome.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and trust that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My aim is to be alongside you as we navigate your inner and outer world together.
I can never predict how therapy will work out for anyone, however, I have seen the healing results of a therapeutic relationship.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I aim to make these first steps as easy as I can for you, Please feel free to ask me any questions 🙂

Cheryl McCabe is credentialed in the United Kingdom and brings three years of professional counselling experience alongside thirty years supporting people with mental health.
Her approach is gentle yet willing to pose thoughtful questions when that will help progress. She balances being interactive with allowing silence when space for reflection is needed, and she uses a sense of humour to remain genuine and down-to-earth.
Cheryl has supported people with stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, anger management, motivation, and self-esteem. She also works creatively when words alone are not enough.
She is parts-aware and trauma-aware, recognising that there are many aspects to personality and welcoming all parts of a person. Cheryl believes clients are the experts in their own stories and trusts in their strengths to help meet challenges.
Her aim is to walk alongside clients as they navigate their inner and outer worlds together. While she cannot predict precisely how therapy will unfold for any individual, she has witnessed healing that emerges from a therapeutic relationship. Acknowledging that taking the first step takes courage, she seeks to make those initial steps as easy as possible and invites any questions.
