Cassandra Moore is a Licensed Master’s level clinician who earned her graduate degree from Auburn University at Montgomery. She holds professional licensure as a counselor in Alabama and as a licensed professional clinical counselor in Minnesota, and she brings eight years of clinical experience to her work.
She has provided therapy to adolescents and adults, couples, and families across a variety of settings, including residential and intensive outpatient programs in both non-profit and private facilities. Her practice focuses on helping people manage stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and intimacy-related concerns, grief, trauma and abuse, family conflict, parenting challenges, self-esteem difficulties, ADHD, career issues, coping with life changes, and LGBT-related matters.
Moore uses talk therapy to help reduce distress for individuals and within relationships. Her approach is guided by each client’s goals and the issues they bring to sessions - sometimes exploring family background and past relationships when those histories contribute to present difficulties, and at other times concentrating on practical solutions and resolutions.
She draws from several treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring techniques to the needs of each client. She looks forward to working with clients and supporting them as they pursue their therapeutic goals.
Many people ask whether virtual therapy produces meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is convenience - clients can connect in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video sessions, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain consistency in treatment and to integrate therapy into a busy life.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients can change providers if they want a different fit. For many people, virtual therapy offers an accessible and practical option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns while working toward personal goals.
