Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Louisiana with over 20 years of professional psychotherapy experience. Additionally, I have also been a board certified telemental health therapist for 8 years. I have experience in helping adult and adolescent clients with stress and anxiety, depression, and coping with life changes. I also have experience working with concentration, memory and focus (adhd).
My main therapeutic approach is the use of cognitive-behavioral theory, which focuses on changing beliefs and behaviors. I also use methods from a variety of other theories (i.e., Attachment-based, psychodynamic, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, etc.) as they suit your needs. I possess and depend on qualities such as empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. I believe the therapist-client relationship is a microcosm of the real world. The client’s ultimate goal is to be able to develop trust with me and generalize our interactions to other relationships they will develop and maintain throughout their lives.
Seeking out therapy can be an overwhelming task in itself and admitting to needing support is key to building a strong foundation for making changes. I look forward to working together to meet your goals toward a more fulfilling life.

Casey Gonzales is a Louisiana-based therapist with more than 20 years of professional psychotherapy experience. She is also a board-certified telemental health therapist, holding that certification for eight years, and works with both adult and adolescent clients on matters such as stress, anxiety, depression, and adapting to life changes.
She has particular experience addressing difficulties with concentration, memory, and focus often associated with attention-deficit concerns. Casey’s primary clinical approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral theory, which emphasizes shifting unhelpful beliefs and behaviors, and she integrates techniques from attachment-based, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive behavioral traditions as appropriate to each person’s needs.
Casey emphasizes qualities of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in her work. She views the therapist-client relationship as a small-scale model of everyday relationships, with the aim that trust developed in therapy will transfer to other connections clients form and maintain over time.
Recognizing that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, Casey encourages acknowledging the need for support as an important first step. She looks forward to collaborating with clients to pursue their goals and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is convenience – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit regular sessions into a busy life.
All participating professionals are licensed, and individuals may choose to switch therapists at any time if they are seeking a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical, effective option for many people seeking mental health support.
