Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! Welcome! I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a few things about myself and my approach to counseling.
My name is Carolyn Fields and I am a Texas-based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from LeTourneau University. I am passionate about life and the innate potential of each person. Counseling is something I chose to pursue because of my love for life and the freedom that comes from health and happiness. I believe that counseling has tremendous potential to make a positive impact in one’s life and relationships! Counseling is a process, and when approached with openness, many great things can emerge from this dynamic endeavor.
I have experience counseling with and supporting others with varied backgrounds on a wide range of concerns. I have counseled with others in the area of trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, panic, grief/loss, divorce/separation, general life-challenges, personal conflicts/distress and skill-building/development. Counseling is a collaborative journey that aims to bring about desired results. I am happy to explore and discuss your concerns to consider what a counseling journey might look like for you. My theoretical approach to counseling tends toward CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Existential Therapy. I seek to meet people where they are and tailor my approach to each client’s individual personality and specific needs.
Please note that my services are not intended for those in immediate danger or harm; or those in the midst of emergency circumstances. Please call 911 or local emergency services should you find yourself in danger, or in an emergency situation and in need of help.

People frequently ask whether remote counseling can make a real difference. For many common concerns—including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes—online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in a way that feels comfortable.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and if a client decides they would like a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and practical path to addressing everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
