Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a 46 year old mother of three (aged 24, 8 and 6) I have had vast life experiences and am in a personal place whereby I consider myself emotionally and relationally healthy.
I qualified as an Integrative Counsellor in 2007. After this I have worked with a diversity of clients, on a one to one and group environment.
I currently practice in a Women’s Centre, counselling women who are survivors of domestic abuse. I also co facilitate the Freedom Programme, a 12 week course to support women to understand abuse, it effects and consequences.
I have also worked privately, within a GP centre and a prison.
I have predominantly worked with adults, face to face, on line and over the telephone.
I am educated to Advanced Diploma level and have continued my PPD since by attending courses, reading and working voluntarily.
I feel that a phenomenological and person centred approach enables trust, security , progress and the healing process.
I have a real passion and belief in the therapeutic process. I perceive life as a journey and counselling as a support for the hindrances or pain it can bring.
I am able to provide a consistently safe and non judgemental space for awareness and healing to develop
