Azita Yorrick is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) working in London with seven years of professional experience. She has supported people through bereavement, helped manage stress and anxiety, and worked with relationship and family difficulties, as well as challenges with motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
She spent three years supporting bereaved people at a hospice and has spent the past four years working in a secondary school with young adults. Azita works from the perspective that each person is the expert in their own story and that existing strengths can be used to address the challenges they face.
Her aim is to offer a collaborative space where talking and reflecting together can deepen self-understanding and help clients move forward. She recognises that taking the first step into therapy takes courage and is proud of anyone who chooses to begin that process.
