Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Dr. Annette Solomon and I look forward to working with you. Congratulations… you’ve taken the first steps toward improving your mental health and well-being. It takes tremendous strength and courage to ask for assistance and I’m honored to be a part of your process. I am a licensed psychologist with over 18 years of training and professional experience. I’ve always loved working in the helping field, thus, in 2003, I received my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Wright State University- School of Professional Psychology (SOPP).
Over the years I’ve specialized in culturally competent therapy with individuals who have challenges with a variety of disorders and/ or life concerns such as addictions, trauma and abuse, diversity issues, and being diagnosed with chronic medical conditions (HIV/ AIDS, spinal cord injuries, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.). I also have experience working with our Veteran population and being a part of diverse medical teams.
My interaction and professional style is warm, compassionate, and strength- based. I utilize motivational interviewing along with cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques to help you achieve your goals. We will discuss and document an individualized treatment plan based on empirically supported techniques.
