Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Andrew and I am a firm believer that every individual is capable of taking positive steps in their lives and careers; however, this may not always be an easy task to undertake. Navigating a unique journey, encountering fears, worries, and complexities is challenging to do alone. At times, we all need a helping hand.
As a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor it is my privilege to support others in navigating and overcoming these challenges. Whether individuals are seeking a safe space to share their thoughts, wanting to understand what is going on for them, aiming to make active changes to their immediate situation, or maintaining progress toward overarching goals, I am committed to providing tailored guidance.
What can I help you with?
I assist individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including processing trauma, anxiety management, low self-esteem, anger management difficulties and recovery from addiction. However, my focus goes beyond labels; I strive to understand and support the individual as a whole. I would be happy to speak with you directly to discuss how we can work together to address your specific circumstances.

Andrew Ellis MA (Master of Arts) believes that every person has the capacity to take positive steps in their life and career, even when that path feels difficult to navigate alone. He recognises that each journey is individual and can involve fears, worries and complexities – and that sometimes a helping hand makes a real difference.
As a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor, he supports people in finding clarity, managing immediate concerns and sustaining progress toward longer-term goals. He offers a safe, non-judgmental space for exploring thoughts and feelings, understanding what is happening for the individual, and working collaboratively on practical change where appropriate.
Andrew works with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, addictions, anger, low self-esteem, coping with life changes, LGBT matters, relationship and family difficulties, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, sleeping problems, parenting and career concerns. He also has experience with bipolar disorder, depression, coaching and compassion fatigue. He is a male, gay therapist who identifies as non-religious and liberal, and brings eight years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom to his practice.
He is committed to delivering tailored support that considers the whole person rather than focusing only on labels, and he is happy to speak directly with anyone who wishes to discuss how they might work together.
Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and coping with life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect with their therapist in the way that suits them best, whether via video calls, phone appointments, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide online care, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they feel a different match would work better. Online therapy can therefore offer effective support while giving people choice in how they engage with a therapist.
