Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I believe in the power of compassion and non-judgmental listening. You don’t have to face your struggles alone – I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey, from a nonjudgemental position helping you make sense of your experiences and the world you have lived in. I have a particular background in working with women who have experienced abuse and trauma that includes physical and sexual assault and emotional abuse and I have worked with individuals working through substance abuse; and also for several years, now, I have worked with women dealing with being trafficked and sold through modern day slavery.
However, I do work with a very wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, bereavement. I work with self esteem issues that are often brought about through bullying, undue parental criticism, and other adverse childhood experiences. Gestalt therapy offers scope for creative expression work, particularly where words feel not enough, or indeed, too much. My approach recognises each person brings their own unique and individual experiences to therapy.

Ana Andreea Haynes works from a foundation of compassion and non-judgmental listening, offering to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences and the world they have lived in.
She has developed particular expertise supporting women who have experienced abuse and trauma, including physical and sexual assault as well as emotional abuse. She has also worked with individuals addressing substance abuse and, for several years, has supported women who have been trafficked and sold through modern day slavery.
In addition to trauma-related work, Ana addresses a broad range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger, and bereavement. She also helps people with self-esteem difficulties that often arise from bullying, undue parental criticism, and other adverse childhood experiences.
Her practice draws on Gestalt therapy, which allows scope for creative expression when words feel insufficient or when talking feels overwhelming. Ana recognises that each person brings their own unique history and needs to therapy, and she aims to provide a respectful, nonjudgemental space for that work.
Based in the United Kingdom, Ana has 3 years of experience offering therapeutic support.
Many people wonder whether connecting with a therapist online can truly help. For a wide range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to engage in the way that feels most comfortable.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different therapeutic fit they can switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, practical way to get consistent support without sacrificing professional standards.
