Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to perform comparably to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility: individuals can connect in the format that suits them best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, and in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and clients are free to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. This approach can make it simpler to find a working relationship that supports long-term progress.
