Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello-
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the helping profession for 8 years.
When I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 1996, I worked as a worker’s compensation adjuster for 12 years. The money was great, but I hated working in that field. Eventually, the company I was working for downsized, so I was laid off. From there, I was lost and didn’t know what to do. Should I continue to stay in the same line of work for the next 12 years, dreading to get out of the bed every day for the money, or should I find a career that will help me utilize my own personal experiences and education to make a difference in the lives of others? I chose to follow my heart. When I took my first counseling class, I knew being a counselor was my calling in life. This is what I was born to do. I realized the most important thing in the world is not how much money you make; it’s about enjoying the work you do. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I don’t enjoy making money, but I know I wasn’t happy. Being a counselor makes me feel alive, full of hope, and purpose. Educating clients on how to manage their mood disorders, stressors, or providing guidance to some of the most difficult challenges in a person’s life is what I live for.
I want you to know that I am here for you. We can face life’s challenges together.
Sincerely,
Sharon Esters

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For a wide range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.
One major benefit is convenience. Clients can choose the mode of communication that fits their needs and schedule best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to prioritize care without rearranging an entire day.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change providers if they need a different therapeutic fit. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, evidence-informed way to address everyday mental health concerns while maintaining the support and structure of regular treatment.
