Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I am Maggie – welcome to my page, where you will get to learn a bit about me.
I am an UK based therapist and apart from the fact that I have a degree in Integrative Counselling and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, what you should about me is that I really love my job!
Besides being part of the Better Help family, I also volunteer as a counsellor for two charities: I firmly believe that therapy should not be out of reach for those who cannot afford it!
I am an avid traveller: both of the mind and the body. I love books and am a perpetual learner. Also love experiencing foreign cultures and destinations.
People utterly fascinate me, and I think every one of us, deep down inside, hides a decent human being. So I always look for him/her and rarely fail to find them among our (human)”kind”.
I am particularly interested in neuroscience, philosophy, behavioural science and the self-actualisation of the human being for the betterment of the collective.
Taking on therapy can sometimes be challenging; it requires a great deal of courage. Courage requires vulnerability…but great things await the courageous if only we take that one step towards meeting our authentic selves.
I invite you to take the journey… Knowing yourself is always better than not knowing who you are. After all, we all have “blind” spots. But we can always turn them into superpowers.
I don’t do miracles, and I can’t promise miracles, but I think I can plant a seed for transformation, even if it’s a tiny one!

Magdelena “Maggie” Rasheva-Malul is a UK-based therapist with 5 years of clinical experience. She holds a degree in Integrative Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and she approaches her work with evident enthusiasm and commitment.
Alongside her private practice, Maggie volunteers as a counsellor for two charities because she believes therapy should not be out of reach for people who cannot afford it. That commitment informs the warm, person-centred way she works with others.
She is an avid traveller of both mind and body, a lover of books, and a lifelong learner who enjoys exploring foreign cultures and destinations. People fascinate her, and she tends to look for the decent human being she believes exists inside most of us.
Maggie has particular interests in neuroscience, philosophy, behavioural science and the self-actualisation of individuals for the betterment of the collective. She recognises that beginning therapy can feel challenging and that courage often requires vulnerability.
She invites people to take the journey toward better self-knowledge, noting that understanding blind spots can help turn them into strengths. She does not promise miracles, but she aims to plant seeds for transformation, however small they may be.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions. This makes it a viable option for people seeking support for everyday mental health challenges.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can choose the way they want to connect – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – so therapy can fit more easily into busy schedules and varied lifestyles.
Another advantage is convenience: those practical options can remove barriers to attending sessions and help maintain continuity of care. Each therapist is a licensed professional, and clients may switch therapists if they want a different fit at any time.
