I am a traditionally trained and fully qualified Person Centred therapeutic counsellor, I have been through years of training and working with clients from all walks of life.
I have the personal experience of walking through my own trauma, so I can naturally walk with others through their life experiences that find them stuck in shadows of pain.
What makes me a counsellor that supports healing is that I have an ability to sit with you, listening from your perspective free of judgement and full of compassion, it is as if you have someone in your corner looking at what you are seeing and feeling into what you are feeling, which in turn creates a partnership of trust that allows both exploration, understanding and healing from historical and present pain, that can hold us prisoner from the happy successful life and relationships we desire.
My counselling service is built on the foundations of the Person Centred philosophy of showing my clients Empathy, Unconditional Positive Regard and being Congruent, I have found this approach supports a trusting relationship and allows room for and welcomes every part of my clients, as they begin the journey both home to themselves and the integration of the parts of self that can become frozen in the trauma experienced.
I believe that every person has the ability to heal from within and live a life free of the heavy bags of shame and trauma that holds us back from the life and relationships we desire.
I offer telephone and online counselling so you can reach out for your sessions at your convenience wherever you are, it also adds an element of privacy as I understand that at times it can be hard to explore our feeling world in person, so this approach offers a place you can find comfort within being in your own space.
