Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can actually help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility. Individuals can connect in the way that fits their life and comfort level – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to keep therapy consistent.
All therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and if someone feels they would prefer a different fit, it is possible to switch therapists at any time.
