Sally Humphreys

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a fully qualified experienced person centred therapeutic counsellor registered member of the BACP. I work both face to face and online. Though qualified I do believe in keeping my knowledge and skills up to date and will regularly seek Personal Development Courses and readings. I am able to work remotely with clients based abroad, my therapy business is based in the UK and my contract is written under English and Welsh law. I am therefore governed by the UK’s jurisdiction, and UK courts.

We will all have times in our lives where things start to get us down, sometimes it may be from a breakdown in a relationship, something in our past such as a neglected or abusive childhood, we can reach a time in our lives where things just do not fit anymore and sometimes we just don’t know why. Having that emotional support that therapy can bring in a non-judgemental, safe environment can help bring back the balance and peace to your life.

I work with you as the client, with the issues and diversity that you bring – ranging from gender identity, depression and anxiety to OCD, sexual violence and bereavement. I have a private practice in Corby and I am also a counsellor at Northamptonshire Rape Crisis (NRC) and I also run a bereavement support group once a month in Kettering.
I offer session flexibility with all of my clients which is why you may not always find slots open for sessions, please contact me and I am sure we can work something out
Finding the right therapist to help you through those times is key. I am a gentle supportive therapist that will help put you at ease offering you a safe space to explore your issues without judgement whether that be face to face or online. I have also worked within NHS Child Services offering Bereavement Counselling to students 11 plus in schools.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people question whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes, online therapy has proven to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.

One major benefit is the flexibility it offers – you can engage with a therapist in the way that best suits your needs, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.

Each therapist involved in online work is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful.
