Hi, thank you for viewing my profile, and well done for making that step into choosing therapy.
My ultimate aim as a therapist is to give every client a service that promotes, encourages and values you and your emotional well-being. Making the decision to access therapy can be one of the hardest decisions to make, so well done for that and wanting to help and improve things for yourself.
I’m a passionate, dedicated, thoughtful and congruent individual who will be by your side in your moments of need. I’ll help you to explore the areas that brought you to therapy and work through the thoughts, feelings and emotions that are attached to these, but in your own time!
My main model of therapy is the person centred approach, as I strongly believe you are the expert on you, I will simply help and support you to find the answers to the issues you are experiencing. I also integrate CBT, Solution Focused and mindfulness approaches to my practice, giving you the client food for thought during the therapy process.
I have also experienced therapy as a client, so have a greater understanding of the thoughts, feelings, fears and emotions connected to starting therapy and the experiences and events that led to me seeking support. Overall I have had therapy for 3 years on and off, and can genuinely say, it changed my life, helped me be aware of the events and traumas I have experienced in the past, and helps me now make the right choices for myself.
If you decide that I’m not the therapist for you after reading this profile, I wish you all the best in your quest for support, and truly hope you find the right person for you.
Take care
Simon

Many people ask whether remote therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person work for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and if a different match is needed clients have the option to switch therapists. For many people, remote therapy provides an accessible and practical route to support while offering outcomes comparable to traditional face-to-face sessions.
