Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Lorna Wilson and I know how difficult it can be to take the first step to seek support, and I wish to thank you for looking at my profile.
Life can be very challenging especially over the past two years, with many changes taking place and a lot of uncertainty. At times we have many questions, and we find ourselves trying to gain some clarity, we search for support to find some answers.
I have experienced the difference counselling has made to my life and I felt that this is something I wanted to share. And for that reason, I trained as a Counsellor.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and I am an Accredited Member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy. (MBACP)
I have over17 years’ experience as a qualified Counsellor. I have been fortunate to work with adults, young people, and children, where I have helped them work through issues such as depression, anxiety, angry management, bereavement, loss, low self-esteem, self compassion, family relationship issues, work relationships, to name a few.
My core model is person centred. Working in a number of settings where there is often time limit, my approach has been to develop trust and a working therapeutic relationship where you can develop strategies to become more fulfilled and to gain more understanding of your life. My aim is to offer warmth and a space for you to explore with freedom and non judgement the issues you want to. I have been privileged and honoured to witness the difference therapy can make to a client’s life.

Many people wonder whether remote counselling can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life or to keep working on issues when meeting in person is difficult.
Each therapist in this service is a licensed professional, and if you decide you would prefer a different match you are free to switch to another therapist at any time. Online therapy can be a practical and effective option for many common emotional and relationship concerns.
