Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
COUNSELLOR, COACH & PSYCHOTHERAPIST
I am an experienced and fully qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and coach based in the UK.
I work predominantly with women who want to make positive changes in their lives. Women who want to make better life choices, changes and decisions. My specialisms are equipping women the practical tools and strategies so they can manage their own mental health and wellbeing. I have over 10 years experience working with people to help them manage their stress, anxiety, low mood and lack of motivation.
I enable women go from a place of feeling stuck and hopeless, to a space where they can trust themselves again and find more inner-peace and contentment.
Often the women I work with are women who want to make changes but are struggling to know how or where to start. They feel overwhelmed and stuck. I help them make the changes they most need and long for.
MY APPROACH
I draw upon a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Approach, Writing Therapy, Guided Relaxations/Visualisations & Mindfulness. If clients feels they would benefit from exercises and techniques, such as guided relaxations and breathing exercises then I am happy to facilitate this during our sessions.
Depending on the needs of the client I love to introduce creative ways of working into our sessions. I believe that when we draw upon our own creativity and imagination powerful and transformative change and insights can occur.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you want to make significant changes in your life you need to be willing to show up and do the work. If you keep doing the same things, you will just keep getting the same results. It’s important for all people to recognise that the real work happens in-between our sessions. This is why I will often set practical tasks, experiments and exercises for you do in-between sessions.
I encourage clients to keep a journal, if this is something that feels helpful for you to do.
To get the best out of the sessions it is important that we can both be as open and honest with each other as possible. I encourage you to share with me what is working, but also what isn’t working for you.
TRAINING
I qualified in 2017 with a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. This was an integrative and relational course.

She has 5 years’ experience supporting people to manage stress, anxiety, low mood and a lack of motivation, and focuses on equipping clients with practical tools and strategies to look after their own mental health and wellbeing.
Kay helps women move from feeling stuck and hopeless to a place where they can trust themselves and find greater inner peace and contentment. Her work draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a Solution Focused approach, Writing Therapy, guided relaxations and visualisations, and mindfulness. If useful for a client, she will include practical exercises such as breathing techniques or guided relaxations during sessions, and she enjoys introducing creative ways of working that use imagination and creativity to support insight and change.
Kay asks clients to be willing to engage with the work, noting that progress often happens between sessions. She regularly sets practical tasks, experiments and exercises for clients to try between meetings and often encourages journaling where it feels helpful. Openness about what is and is not working in therapy is encouraged so the work can be adapted to each person’s needs.

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can really help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for many people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to schedule appointments around work, family and other commitments.
Each therapist you meet online is a licensed professional, and if the fit is not right you can switch to another therapist. For many people, the convenience and accessibility of online sessions make it a practical and effective option to support mental health and wellbeing.
