Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome. I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and work with both current life problems as well as longer-term issues. You may feel that concerns have been building, struggle with underlying thoughts or feelings you want to address, or would like to work on coming to terms with a loss or relational problems. Therapy can offer a new perspective, increase self-awareness and help to make sense of how you’re feeling by exploring and processing these issues in a supportive and confidential setting.
With a calm and compassionate personality, I offer a supportive space to reflect and work collaboratively. Present problems can have roots in the past; relationships and experiences shape us in ways we may not be aware of, and patterns and behaviours can become counter-productive. Whilst starting therapy can feel daunting it is often also a rewarding and enriching journey and I am mindful to working with you at your pace and to your needs.
My Background
As a counsellor with the NHS and as a bereavement counsellor I have worked with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, physical/mental health, stress, self-harm, work related issues, as well as chronic mental health conditions, autism and learning difficulties in my role as a support worker.
Originally from Switzerland, I have worked and studied in several countries and I am passionate about life in multi-cultural society. A creative and motivated personality, I also work in music and television production and have a holistic approach to life’s challenges including personal growth, spirituality and self-expression.
My professional orientation
I have an integrative approach, combining person-centred and psychodynamic models, which helps to explore both present as well as past relationships and experiences and how they have shaped us. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), guided by an ethical framework that puts you and your wellbeing at the heart of our work.
I offer a free introductory phone call to explore any questions and concerns you may have and how I can best assist you on your journey collaboratively. I provide therapy in person as well as via Video and Telephone in English, German and Swiss-German.
