Lynsey Cuthbert

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi I’m Lynsey! Based in Northern Ireland, I am an Integrative Counsellor, using Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic approaches. I am an Accredited member of the BACP.

As a wife, mum and daughter, I understand how life can get on top us. In these busy and unprecedented times, we can get stressed by trying to cope, or feel overwhelmed and down when we can’t cope. I’m here to support – not judge, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and though I am mature, I am young at heart.

I have worked privately for a number of years, offering support to those with low mood, depression, anxiety, family issues, survivors of narcissistic personality disorder, grief and bereavement, relationship and family problems, sexual abuse, future uncertainty, burnout, LGBTQ+, confidence and self-esteem issues etc.

I provide a safe environment and offer respect and confidentiality, where clients can freely explore and express their fears and concerns.

I bring high ethical standards to my working, safeguarding structures and will guarantee further research if ever necessary.
Please remember – it’s good to talk.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A key benefit is flexibility – you can choose the way of connecting that suits you best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to access support from wherever you are. Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and therapists can offer a range of approaches to address everyday mental health challenges. If the fit isn’t right, you can switch therapists at any time. Overall, for many people dealing with common emotional or interpersonal issues, online therapy is an accessible and effective option that makes professional support easier to arrange and sustain.
