I am a fully qualified and credentialed counsellor in Australia and New Zealand and have been practising professionally since 2018.
I specialise in helping adults, young people and children who have gone through difficult experiences including all types of trauma, family violence and sexual abuse as well as depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, communication in relationships, relationship issues, self-esteem & confidence, emotional regulation, culture, spirituality, etc in English and Mandarin.
You can expect a gentle, caring and non-judgemental approach to my work. My approach is eclectic as I draw from my vast range of training to inform my work which includes Person-Centred Therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength-based approach, crisis intervention, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) 5 part model, brainspotting, attachment theory, narrative therapy, developmental neuroscience, talk therapy, small figures, psychoeducation and many more. With children, I use a further range of Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Sand Tray.
I love counselling, I love helping people get their light bulb moment. One single insight can set you free from a lifetime of pain. I believe in short-term pain for long-term gain. My passion is to journey with people in the darkest, most difficult moments of life and give them hope.
My clients note my warmth, acceptance, empathic way of being, cheerful presence and supportive nature. As someone who comes from the Christian faith, I bring this background to my work implicitly and have an openness and curiosity about the person in front of me without judgement. I want to help support you to reach your full potential, your goals in life and explore what might be getting in the way. Together, we can let go of old childhood messages, outdated coping strategies, and discover your voice, your self-worth, and your true being.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Send me a message and I will be in touch as soon as I can 🙂

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It can be a practical option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship issues.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to access support from different locations.
Each therapist offering online sessions is a licensed professional, and if a particular therapeutic relationship does not feel like the right fit clients have the option to switch to a different therapist at any time.
