Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a person centred licensed therapist in the UK with over five years of professional work experience in counselling. I have helped clients dealing with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss of motivation, self esteem, confidence and depression. I have also helped people with childhood trauma and more recent trauma.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. My aim is to help you enjoy your life everyday.
I also know that simply, sometimes, you just want someone to talk to in confidence and I am more than happy to listen to anything you wish to talk about. Maybe you have lost your ‘self’ somewhere, or unable to feel as if you have a purpose in life. Let me help you find you and put the joy back in your life.
I have have slots available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as some Saturday and evening slots on request. Please message me if you cannot see any availability.
I work from my own home in a completely confidential setting. I would appreciate that you too would work from a private and confidential setting with no distractions.
I am regulated by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am able to work with clients who are not based in the UK, but you must be aware that I am governed by English Law.
I encourage you to put yourself first and take that first step into counselling. Committing yourself to 4 sessions with me will be the most beneficial way to try therapy.

Tara Massie is a person-centred licensed therapist practising in the United Kingdom with 7 years of professional experience. She is a female, Christian therapist and an older practitioner who has supported people with stress, anxiety, grief, loss of motivation, low self-esteem, reduced confidence and depression, as well as those affected by childhood or more recent trauma.
She works with respect, sensitivity and compassion, tailoring conversation and treatment plans to each person’s specific needs. Tara aims to support and empower people as they take the courageous first steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life, with the goal of helping them enjoy life every day.
Tara also recognises that sometimes people simply need someone to listen. She is willing to listen to whatever a client wishes to discuss and can help those who feel they have lost a sense of self or purpose to reconnect with what brings them joy.
She has appointment slots available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with some Saturday and evening times offered on request. Tara works from her own home in a completely confidential setting and asks that clients also join sessions from a private, distraction-free space. She is regulated by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and can work with clients who are not based in the UK, though she is governed by English law.
Tara encourages people to put themselves first and notes that committing to four sessions is often the most beneficial way to begin therapy with her.
