I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I have worked in the mental health field for a little over 6 years, and my expertise is primarily related to working with children, teens and families that have experienced trauma or other stress related disorders. I have experience working in the juvenile justice system with at risk youth as well as with children and teens in foster care. I also have experience working with individuals who have anxiety, difficulty managing anger, mood disorders and individuals working through family conflicts. My therapeutic frame is client centered and humanistic. You are seen as the expert in your life, while I guide you through internal awareness, interpersonal changes and healing. I begin where you are and tailor the treatment approach to your needs while being sensitive to how your individual cultural identities and lifestyle choices impact your experiences. I use evidence based techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Child Parent Psychotherapy(CPP).
My hours are Monday to Friday 9:15am-6:45pm. Earlier appointments, later appointments and weekends may be available upon request. I can generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, and sometimes more! You can also book a live session with me ahead of time.
