Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of therapy experience. My therapeutic approach to counseling is holistic and strength based. Holistic meaning that we, as individuals, are made up of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social strengths. When one or more of these “strengths” become weak, (from internal or external factors) we may suffer from depression, anxiety, and/or other stress related issues.
My job as a therapist is to help you find your inner strengths and develop new ones to “re-balance” your life! When we are balanced, we are strong and whole!

Lisa Raley is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Alabama with 16 years of experience offering psychotherapy. She combines professional training with a compassionate, approachable manner to support people facing stress, anxiety, depression and other life challenges. She is licensed in Alabama as a clinical social worker, a credential that reflects her professional training and state authorization to provide therapy (AL LICSW 2189C).
Her therapeutic approach is holistic and strength-based. By holistic, she means that people are made up of interrelated areas – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social – and that difficulties can arise when one or more of those areas weaken due to internal or external factors. When those areas fall out of balance, symptoms such as anxiety, depression or stress-related problems often follow.
Lisa’s role is to help clients identify existing resources and develop new strengths to restore balance in their lives. She works collaboratively to build resilience and practical skills so individuals can feel more whole and better able to manage life’s demands.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that suits them best, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to access support from wherever one is located.
Therapists offering remote services are licensed professionals, and a client may change providers if they would prefer a different therapeutic fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, effective way to address everyday mental health and relationship concerns without sacrificing professional care.
