Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, and a warm welcome to you. I’m Yvonne, a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I offer professional, compassionate counselling for adults from all walks of life through my private therapy practice, as well as in a voluntary capacity where I support individuals who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and trauma.
I offer a Safe, Supportive Space to Be Heard and Heal
I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard and respected. Together, we can explore the challenges you’re facing, help you connect with your inner strength, and begin the process of healing at your own pace.
I work integratively with a core Person-Centred approach, gently helping you to explore your emotions, identify patterns, and reconnect with your own needs, values, and sense of self.
My Counselling Approach
As a counselling practitioner with a degree in Person-Centred Counselling and over five years of professional training, I bring both experience and empathy to our sessions. My therapeutic work supports clients with a range of issues, including:
• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma and PTSD
• Childhood sexual abuse recovery
• Grief and bereavement
• Domestic abuse
• Relationship and family difficulties
• Self-esteem and identity issues
While my foundation is Person-Centred therapy, I respectfully incorporate elements of other therapeutic approaches when appropriate, to best support your individual journey.
Healing is Possible
Life experiences—especially painful or traumatic ones—can sometimes get buried deep within us. You might find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or confused without fully understanding why. Through counselling, we can gently unpack those experiences together, like untangling a ball of string, and make sense of the emotions and patterns that affect you today.
It’s never too late to begin your healing journey. My goal is to support you in finding greater clarity, emotional resilience, and self-acceptance, so that you can move forward with confidence.
Take the First Step
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Please feel free to get in touch to book a session or ask any questions. I look forward to supporting you.
Warm wishes,
Yvonne

Life experiences – especially painful or traumatic ones – can become buried and contribute to feeling overwhelmed, anxious or confused. Through counselling she helps clients gently unpack those experiences, much like untangling a ball of string, to make sense of the emotions and patterns that affect their lives today. It is never too late to begin a healing journey, and her aim is to help clients find greater clarity, resilience and self-acceptance so they can move forward with more confidence.
Reaching out for support can take courage; Yvonne is available to walk alongside clients as they begin this process. She looks forward to supporting people who choose to take that first step.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity of care.
All therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed clients can switch therapists at any time.
