Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there, welcome to my page. My name is Wendy Cummins I’m an experienced, qualified Psychodynamic counsellor. I like to work with you in a warm, supportive and empathic space, with no judgement, I’m here to listen. I offer you time and ‘a safe space’ to explore what’s making you struggle or feel stuck. I find working weekly through scheduling regular 45 minute video sessions is the best way to create the therapy relationship. Working together we can explore the emotions and behaviours which are playing on your mind. The emotional patterns are often things you believe about yourself and repeated over time become how you relate to the world. It’s good to talk things through and encourage small changes to a healthier, happier, you. Taking this first step to sign up for therapy can take courage! I am proud of you for taking this step in getting started and I’m here to listen when you are ready!

Wendy Cummins is a qualified psychodynamic counsellor with four years of experience who works from a warm, supportive and empathic stance. She creates a non-judgemental, calm space to listen and to help people explore what is leaving them feeling stuck.
She recommends establishing the therapy relationship through regular weekly 45-minute video sessions, which provide time and continuity to look closely at the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that matter. Together she explores emotional patterns that often stem from long-held beliefs about the self.
Those patterns can become the habitual way someone relates to the world, and Wendy supports identifying them and encouraging small, manageable changes toward a healthier, happier life. She recognises that taking the first step into therapy can take courage and is ready to listen when a person feels prepared to begin.
Many people wonder whether remote counselling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – people can meet with a therapist in the way that best fits their life, whether by video call, phone, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to attend sessions consistently and to fit therapy around work, family and other commitments.
Licensed professionals deliver online care, and if someone feels they need a different fit they can switch therapists at any time. For many people, this combination of effectiveness and practical convenience makes online therapy a useful option to consider.
